Preds blow two goal lead win in OT

BY Josh @Top6Grinder

The Nashville Predators faced off against the Tampa Bay Lighting in a dual of top teams in the NHL. Tampa Bay came into Nashville in first place of the Eastern Conference.

The Preds looked to come into the game with something to prove after the disappointing performance against the Ducks which was another battle of top teams.

One of the best games of the year was unfortunately not televised. It seems like at this point with the organization and fan support every game for Nashville should be on t.v.

The first period ended scoreless. The Preds came out strong in the second period with goals from Seth Jones and Taylor Beck. Jones is red hot right now and is playing solid hockey on both ends if the ice. The second period ended 2-0. The Preds gave up the two goal lead in the third period and held on to send the game into OT. Neal had the game winner with thirty three seconds left in OT to save the Preds from a another loss to a top team.

Game Notes:

Bartley played in his 100 NHL game.

The Bolts are 1-15-2 when losing after the second period this year.

The Preds faceoff against the Jets Thursday night in Nashville in what should be a good central division showdown. Be sure to get your tickets because this game will not be on t.v. either.

Prednecknation Radio will be live on WNSR 560AM/95.9FM at 6 to get you all set for faceoff Vs The Jets!
