Preds Face Wings, on Pride Day…

Today is Predators Pride day, so don’t forget to wear your colors proudly all throughout the Nation. There would be no better way to celebrate Preds pride than to defeat the rival Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena 6:30 CT.

This is the sixth & final regular season contest between the teams with playoff implications on the line. Detroit has won 3 of 5 matchups this season including both in “hockey town”. The Preds will need to play tough as the Red Wings sit 1 point in front for 4th (& home ice in 1st round) in the Western Conference.

With a 30-5-2 home record, Detroit will be very tough to beat if Nashville does not finish in the 4th slot. Overall, these two teams have not been at their best with the Preds going 5-4-1 in last 10 & Wings 3-5-2 with both teams dropping their last game.

Always a great game when these teams get together & winner will hold that important 4th spot with 4 games remaining in the season. This is the 1st of tough back to backs as Chicago will be waiting in Nashville for the Preds on Saturday Night.
