Another game vs a Canadian team…. Another victory for Nashville. After last night’s 4-2 win vs the Jets, the Preds are now 12-1-2 vs Canadian clubs this season. This was a typically physical game involving Winnipeg as the hitting was frequently fierce.

Craig Smith continued to be a force with two goals on the night. Ryan Johansen and Colton Sissons rounded out the scoring for the boys in gold. Colin Wilson followed up his worst performance of the year with easily his best since returning from injury, notching two assists after tallying just 3 points in his last 13.

It’s now been officially an entire month since Nashville lost a game in regulation on February 9th to the Capitals, going 9-0-4 in that stretch. The team also continues its historic performance away from Bridgestone Arena, going 10-0-2 in their last 12 road games.

With the win, the Preds move to within 5 points of third place in the Central while extending their lead for the Wild Card to eight points.

What to Watch Tonight: Nashville is right back at it tonight when they take on Calgary at 830. Colorado hosts Anaheim and Chicago faces off in St Louis on NBCSN for a critical divisional match-up.
