Preds Ride Rinne To Victory

The Nashville Predators met up with central division rival Winnipeg Jeta in Nashville on Thursday night.

The Preds started scoring early on a Weber blast early in the first period. It was unknown if Weber was going to play after not being at practice earlier in the day.

The Jets tied it up later in the period on a deflected shot on the power play. The score remained tied until the second period when Forsberg sniped a shot in the corner.

The Preds held on to the lead on fantastic play by Rinne. Rinne made several game changing highlight reel saves to keep the Jets at one goal.

James Neal scored late in the third period to make it 3-1 and ice the game away.
