Preds strike Oil in 1st, Hold off Edmonton 3-2

The Nashville Predators returned home to face off against the Edmonton Oilers Tuesday night after a long six game road trip. The Preds took the ice at the Bridgestone Arena and quickly earned a 3-0 lead in the first period.

The Oilers changed goalies after the 1st period. Ben Scrivens came in and blanked the Preds the rest of the game saving all 18 shots.
The Predators have beat Edmonton twice this year which is nice to see for a change. In the past the Preds have not always had good results against the Oilers.
Filip Forsberg continues his campaign to being an absolute stud in the making. He has a six game point streak and currently leads all Preds players with 17 points.

The Preds are on top of the central division with a record of 10-3-2 with 22 points. Preds hit the road again to face off against the 2nd place St. Louis Blues on Thursday night at 7:00pm.
