Preds Vs Blues E1416074555115

Preds Win Streak Ended By Blues

By Josh @Top6Grinder

The Nashville Predators went into St. Louis for the second time in five days to face off against the Blues. The Preds came away with a 4-3 loss in a tough game that could have gone either way.

A chippy game with a playoff like atmosphere included players like Ryan Ellis fighting and penalty boxes at max capacity. The game left plenty of suspense for future mashups¬† between the two hated rivals. Personally I cannot wait until the “boos” come into Smashville to face off against the Preds.

Preds goals by:
-Filip Forsberg
-Shea Weber
-Roman Josi

Filip Forsberg continued his fantastic play ending the game with 3 points .

The defense got going with some goal scoring with goals by Weber and Josi. That was good to see and I hope it gets the pairing back into it’s goal scoring ways.

Craig Smith seems to have disappeared so look for him to pop up again and score some goals again real soon.

The Preds come home for one game Saturday night to face off against the Winnipeg Jets.  The Jets come into Smashville looking to make some noise and continue their recent winning ways. Jets winners of 8 of their last 9 games have a ton of momentum and a lot to prove Saturday night. It will be interesting to see if the Preds can bounce back and slow down the Jets who are quickly climbing up the central division rankings.
