Nashville Predators Development Camp got underway with first on ice sessions at Centennial SportsPlex this morning & it was great to see the new draft picks & other prospects already on the ice preparing for next season. The theme of the day was skating & fundamentals as the group of instructors put the players through a myriad of drills that had onlookers very interested. Not a tremendous amount of information after the first session, but a feeling of hope & what appeared to be some hard work & good attitudes from this group of young men, who for some, is the first NHL experience they have ever had. Camp continues throughout the week (Days/times listed below) with open sessions that are free to the public. I highly recommend getting out & seeing the future stars of the Predators organization if you can (it’s free & cold in Sportsplex).
